Internet Advertising - Conclusion


In conclusion, Advertising on the World Wide Web has many advantages and disadvantages. I believe that in my opinion, that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. Having online advertisement, allowing your advertisement to be viewed globally all around the world, takes your business to a whole new level targeting much more audience. Its low cost, offers small business to invest in online marketing cutting down in initial cost of marketing. Internet’s vast scope also allows every day users to experience more services provided by business and makes it a convenient places for shoppers. It allows people get more time out of their life, that other traditional shopping methods such as driving to a store to pay bills. With the help of the internet, it has helped us humans in many ways. There would most importantly always be disadvantages, but most importantly in my opinion, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.   The World Wide Web is always be developing and in this instance it would create a even better place for online advertisement. It proves to be the foremost advertisement method along all other media, and guarantees results everytime.

Furthermore, there is also downside to advertising on the internet. On an average, six million users log on and use the net every day. One of the biggest problems of online advertisement, that the internet is so broad that causes difficulty to the user to find a particular company or service. Internet advertising is also very slim in scope relating to searching on the internet. It is narrow in the sense that it only caters for the ones who search through the web. The point here is that it limits your advertisement to a limited amount of audience. Not everywhere country has kept up with the technology in the recent years and therefore internet advertisement cannot be reached everywhere as other traditional methods. The next major aspect would be advertising on the internet globally. Not every business needs to advertise on the internet globally, it might only be for a community or a city or even just for the country. In this instance, the World Wide Web doesn’t unfortunately have a solution. So if you’re advertising on the internet, your product could be searched up all around the world by every single user. This also affects privacy.

There are several arguments for internet advertising. Firstly, discussion will be made on Enhanced ads than all other advertising methods. In this modern world of broadband internet, this super fast internet connection allows advertisement to be much enhanced than other advertising methods out there. Rich media ad’s use sound and streaming video to attract more potential customers. These ads are more intrusive and memorable simply because they pop up and have to be clicked on to be gotten rid of. There are also found to be more entertaining and humorous.  Secondly, advertising on the internet could be done low cost and not causing companies to go into a financial crisis. Internet Advertising has found to be cheaper than other source of advertising such as TV commercials, radio broadcast and printing and mailing distribution. In this world of technology, convenience and speed are the two biggest factors of growth of advertising. From anywhere around 30 million users on the World Wide Web can find a business just by searching for the keywords relating to your company or service provided. Being able to provide fast access to information to users could make businesses really successful. Advertising through the internet is easier than all other forms of advertising, advertiser are able to change the contents any time with not much of a cost. Regular Discounts and special promotions are one of the strategies used by many businesses around the world. Most importantly the internet serves your business as a virtual storefront, a virtual storefront that’s open 24 hours 7 days a week. It gives clients assurance and better service, creating more revenue for the company.

Internet marketing also refers to the placement of media along many other stages of the customer engagement cycle through search engine.
